A Dog's Way Home

In a neighborhood in Denver, Colorado, a stray dog named Bella lives with a colony of feral cats before being saved by a mother cat and adopted by Lucas Ray and his family, including his veteran mother Terri. As Lucas plays with and cares for Bella, they face challenges from Animal Control officers, particularly Chuck Millits, who wrongly assumes Bella is a pitbull due to Denver's breed restrictions. Determined to find her way home, Bella embarks on an epic 400-mile journey that takes two and a half years to complete, facing numerous ordeals along the way, including being hunted by coyotes and helping rescue a man buried in an avalanche. Ultimately, after many trials and tribulations, Bella finds her way back to Lucas, Terri, and Olivia, reuniting with the family she loves.
