Elderly farmer Michael Bolini (Ernest Borgnine) faces financial troubles after discovering a huge inheritance tax debt. Land developers approach him with a predatory offer, while his neighbors are experiencing similar issues. An old acquaintance, Lydia Bailey (Kimberley Guerrero), arrives to lend a hand and offers support in dealing with the land developers.
