Ghost in the Shell

In 2029, Major Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg public-security agent, hunts an enigmatic hacker/ghost known as "the Puppet Master". Section 9, a group of cybernetically enhanced cops, is called in to investigate and stop the Puppetmaster after he begins involving humans in politics. The narrative focuses on self and identity in a technologically advanced world.
