The Sword in the Stone

Wart is a young boy who aspires to be a knight's squire, and on a hunting trip, he falls in on Merlin, a powerful but amnesiac wizard who has plans for him beyond mere squiredom. Sebastian Cabot voices Sir Ector, Wart's foster father, while Karl Swenson provides the voice of Merlin, an old and eccentric wizard who aids and educates Arthur. The film features various magical and musical numbers, including encounters with Madam Mim, a black magic-proficient witch and Merlin's nemesis, and the eventual removal of the Sword in the Stone by Wart, fulfilling the prophecy to become England's rightful king.
