Zardoz

In a post-apocalyptic world, Sean Connery stars as Zed, an Exterminator trained only to kill, who infiltrates the community of bored immortals that preserve humanity's achievements in a futuristic wasteland. As Zed navigates this bizarre new society, he discovers the truth about Zardoz, a gigantic stone head that supplies Brutal warriors with weapons in exchange for food, and becomes embroiled in an existential struggle between those who seek meaning and those who succumb to boredom and decay.
