The Lure

In this Polish musical horror film, two sirens emerge from the waters to perform in a nightclub, performing as strippers and backup singers under the guise of "The Lure." As one sister falls in love with a man, she must face cruel and bloody choices that threaten to destroy her very existence. A reworking of Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid" set against the backdrop of 1980s Warsaw, Poland, this film tells a dark and twisted tale of identity, desire, and the consequences of losing one's voice.
