License to Drive

Les Anderson (Corey Haim) thinks his life can't get any worse after he flunks his driver's exam, but things take a turn for the worse when he enlists his rebellious friend Dean to help him sneak a luxury car with Mercedes Lane (Heather Graham), who gets drunk and causes damage to the vehicle. The situation escalates when Les tries to cover up the incident, leading to a series of misadventures involving a malfunctioning construction crane and a BMW that's revealed to be his father's own damaged car. In the end, Les's parents forgive him, and he drives off with Mercedes in her new car.
