The Closet

In this 2001 French comedy, Daniel Auteuil plays François Pignon, an accountant at a rubber factory who pretends to be homosexual to keep his job. With the aid of his neighbor, Gérard Depardieu as Félix Santini, he spreads a rumor about his supposed homosexuality, leading to absurd and unexpected consequences. As a result, Pignon's life becomes dramatically better, but not without some chaos and hilarity along the way.
