A crew of Martians, hearing a Halloween broadcast of Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds," land their ship in a small mid-American town and are mistaken for trick-or-treaters. The Martians try to get taken seriously as they search for their non-existent invasion fleet, encountering a greedy developer who tries to cash in on their presence. Meanwhile, the crew's incompetence causes chaos, from Blaznee's attempts to repair his ship to Captain Bipto's robotic slave and Lieutenant Giggywig's failed plans to blow up the town. In the end, the Martians' mistake leads to unexpected consequences, including saving a drought-stricken farm and rejuvenating its crops.
