Restrepo

"Restrepo" follows the year-long deployment of the Second Platoon, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley, as they struggle to maintain a fragile balance between their mission to defeat the Taliban and the human costs of war. The film centers around Captain Dan Kearney (Dan Kearney), who decides to construct an advanced outpost, named after medic Juan "Doc" Restrepo (Juan "Doc" Restrepo), in honor of his fallen comrade, and the men come under fire almost daily from shifting enemy positions.
