A River Runs Through It

The film follows two sons of a Presbyterian minister, Rev. John Maclean, as they grow up in Missoula, Montana, and come of age during the World War I era. Norman Maclean (Craig Sheffer) eventually leaves to attend college at Dartmouth, but returns home to find his brother Paul (Brad Pitt) has become a skilled fisherman and investigative journalist. The brothers' relationship is put to the test as they navigate their individual paths in life, including Norman's romance with Jessie Burns (Emily Lloyd), while also dealing with family conflicts and personal struggles.
