The Young Offenders

Two teenage boys from inner-city Cork embark on a 160km road trip to find an unrecovered bale of cocaine worth 7,000,000 euros after they steal bicycles and join forces to track down the valuable drug. Based on Operation Seabight, the seizure of 1.5 tonnes of cocaine off the Irish coast in 2007, the film is a comedy-crime adventure that follows Conor and Jock as they navigate their troubled home lives and confront their nemesis, Garda Healy. Along the way, they face numerous challenges and misadventures that ultimately lead to a surprising resolution and a newfound sense of belonging.
