The Doors is a 1991 American biographical psychological musical film directed by Oliver Stone, who also co-wrote the film with J. Randall Jahnson. The film chronicles the rise and fall of charismatic singer Jim Morrison and his influential 1960s rock band, The Doors, between 1966-1971.
