Rhinoceros

In a bizarre and hilarious twist of fate, Gene Wilder stars in "Rhinoceros," a 1974 comedy film based on the play by Eugène Ionesco. As a mild-mannered office clerk, Stanley watches in horror as his neighbors and friends - including his own best friend Zero Mostel - transform into rhinoceroses, leaving him one of the last humans standing. Refusing to surrender, Stanley takes a defiant stance against the animalization of society, shouting from atop his apartment building in a powerful act of nonconformity.
