Cat People

Nastassja Kinski as Irena Gallier transforms into a panther if sexually aroused, and only by killing a human can she regain her human form, following in the footsteps of her ancestrally incestuous werecat heritage revealed by her brother Malcolm McDowell's character, Paul Gallier. The film's plot follows Irena's reunion with her brother in New Orleans, where she becomes entangled in a romantic triangle involving zoo curator John Heard and female friend Annette O'Toole. As Irena struggles to control her feline instincts, she finds herself drawn to Oliver, but ultimately succumbs to her werecat nature, leading to a tragic confrontation.
