In the film "Mountain Miracle", 13-year-old Amelie (Mia Kasalo) is a feisty and independent girl who suffers from asthma. On her own, she decides to leave a clinic in South Tyrol that she believes has wronged her, and embarks on an adventure with a new friend, Bart (Samuel Girardi), who joins her on her quest to climb the mountain where Amelie hopes to find healing.
