Survival of the Dead

Off the coast of North America, locals simultaneously fight a zombie epidemic while hoping for a cure to revert their undead relatives back to normal. The conflict takes on a unique flavor in this sixth and final entry in George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead series, as two feuding Irish families - the O'Flyns and the Muldoons - clash over how to deal with the dead on their island home. When National Guardsmen stumble upon the island, they are drawn into a brutal and bloody struggle that threatens to consume them all, serving as a dark commentary on the cyclical nature of conflict and the devastating consequences of war.
