Sunshine on Leith

Davy Henshaw (George MacKay) and Ally (Kevin Guthrie), recently discharged from serving in Afghanistan, return to their homes and families in Edinburgh, struggling to learn how to live a life outside the army. As they navigate everyday struggles with family, jobs, and relationships, Davy forms a romantic relationship with Yvonne (Antonia Thomas), while Ally considers his future with girlfriend Liz Henshaw (Freya Mavor). The film features music by pop-folk band The Proclaimers and is based on the sensational stage hit of the same name.
