Unlawful Entry

A seemingly idyllic Los Angeles couple's life is shattered when their upscale home is burglarized, leaving Karen as a brief hostage to an intruder at knifepoint. The grateful Carrs enlist the help of one responding officer, Pete Davis, who arranges for a new security system and strikes up an unexpected friendship with Michael, but his take on that friendship quickly turns into a dark obsession. As Pete's fixation intensifies, he wreaks havoc on Michael's life, including destroying his finances and manipulating evidence to frame him for a crime he didn't commit.
