Four Christmases

Brad McVie (Vince Vaughn) and Kate Kinkaid (Reese Witherspoon) are a happily unmarried couple who make an art form out of avoiding their families during the holidays. After all departing flights are canceled, they are embarrassed to see their foolproof plan exposed to the world by a television reporter and are left with precious little choice but to swallow their pride and suffer the rounds. Stuck in San Francisco, Brad and Kate must travel to four family parties after their vacation plans get canceled due to dense fog, leading to a series of disastrous visits that put their relationship to the test.
