An unlikely friendship between two neighbors, Mark Duplass as Michael and Ray Romano as Andy, becomes unexpectedly emotional when Michael is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Despite Michael's wishes to end his life, Andy encourages him to fight, leading them on a road trip to the closest pharmacy where they discuss genie-in-a-bottle style wishes and visit an ostrich farm along the way. As Michael's condition deteriorates, Andy delivers a rousing halftime speech he's been working on in secret, revealing their deepening bond.
