A Thousand Words

Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy), a fast-talking literary agent known for his "gift of gab," must learn to communicate without speaking when a magical Bodhi tree mysteriously appears in his backyard, threatening to kill him and himself with every word he speaks. As Jack navigates this challenge, he must choose his words carefully and make amends in all his relationships, including his estranged wife Caroline (Kerry Washington) and his father, whom he never got along with. With the help of his assistant Aaron Wiseberger (Clark Duke), Jack tries to break the curse and restore his free speech before it's too late.
