Bucum Jackson (Ice Cube), a maverick bounty hunter, teams up with small-time con artist Reggie Wright (Mike Epps) to find a group of diamond thieves. They join forces to locate a missing stash of diamonds and a lottery ticket worth millions of dollars, leading to an unlikely partnership that proves beneficial to both men. As they embark on their adventure, they face various obstacles, including a psychopathic thief named Julian, who is being pursued by Williamson, the duo's employer. Along the way, Reggie's girlfriend Gina (Eva Mendes) wins the lottery, and Bucum's boss Martinez orders him to stay away from Reggie, leading to a series of misadventures that test their partnership.
