The Wood

The Wood is a 1999 American coming-of-age comedy drama film that follows Roland, who is getting married and missing, as his two best friends reminisce about growing up together in Inglewood, California. The story flashes back to Mike's youth in the 1980s when he first encounters Roland and Slim, his first crush on Alicia, and their misadventures as teenagers growing up in Inglewood. Shy and awkward Mike is befriended by Slim and Roland, who offer him advice on how to win over Alicia, including finding a condom in Stacey's room. As the boys reminisce about their past, they argue with Roland for putting his relationship at risk, just hours before he must get married.
