A young adult group visits Crystal Lake, where they encounter Jason Voorhees, a mysterious and deadly figure with a penchant for violence, as he stalks and kills them one by one in a gruesome game of survival. With elements inspired by the original first four films, this slasher remake delivers a leaner, quicker killer with a twisted backstory that evokes sympathy without losing menace. The film's darker tone and Jason's deadly exploits will send chills down your spine as you follow the desperate search for a missing sister and the ensuing horror that ensues.
