Two months after the murders at Camp Crystal Lake, sole survivor Alice Hardy is brutally murdered by an unknown intruder while opening her refrigerator. Five years later, a new group of counselors arrives at a summer camp near Crystal Lake, unaware that the ominous legend of Jason Voorhees is all too real. The film marks the debut of Jason as the series' main antagonist, unleashing a wave of suspense and terror on the unsuspecting trainees as they are stalked and slaughtered one by one by an unseen killer.
