Phase IV

In "Phase IV," ants undergo rapid evolution and develop a cross-species hive mind after a cosmic event, leading to a battle for survival between humans and the intelligent insects in the Arizona desert. Dr. Ernest D. Hubbs (Nigel Davenport) and James R. Lesko (Michael Murphy) set up a lab in an ant-infested area, but soon find themselves facing off against the increasingly aggressive ants. As the situation spirals out of control, Kendra Eldridge (Lynne Frederick), who has taken refuge with the scientists, becomes convinced that her actions have enraged the ants, and ultimately sacrifices herself to save them.
