In "Games Gamblers Play," Michael Hui stars as Wen, a cunning convict who makes a quick buck through his gambling skills even behind bars. He takes on a novice gambler named Chieh, played by Sam Hui, and agrees to mentor him. Together, they devise plans to con their way into wealth, but things don't go as smoothly as expected. With the help of Wen's expertise and a few lucky breaks, they eventually find themselves in a high-stakes game of Mahjong against a ruthless loan shark named Ching, who will stop at nothing to win.
