Living Proof

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, documentarian Matt Embry takes viewers on a transnational journey — from Italy to Canada, and from the lab to the home — in order to examine the politics of the condition. He visits several MS patients, including Larry Findlater, George Ebers, Christopher Duma, Viola Tsang, David Lyons, Judy Graham, and Terry Wahls, learning about their lifestyle changes and the progression of the autoimmune disease. Since there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, Embry and his father Ashton Embry embark on a journey to find answers and hope.
