In the jungles of Polonnaruwa in Sri Lanka, a family of toque macaques navigates the complex social hierarchy of their ancient ruins home. Maya, a low-born female, faces challenges as she tries to raise her son Kip and secure a place within the troop. With the help of Kumar, a handsome male monkey who catches her eye, Maya must fight for survival and prove herself in a competitive world where strength and cunning are key. Through her journey, Maya transforms from an outcast to a leader, securing a brighter future for herself and her family.
