Annapolis

In this underwhelming drama, a young man from a shipbuilders' family attends the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, despite dubious grades, thanks to the persistent efforts of a tenacious Congressman and his own stubborn determination. As he navigates the grueling academy program, Huard finds support among his classmates and mentors, including a Midshipman 2nd Class who becomes his love interest. Through the brutal world of boxing tournaments and the challenges of military life, Huard learns to excel academically and earn the respect of those around him, ultimately leading to his retention in the academy.
