Gattaca

Gattaca is a 1997 American dystopian science fiction film written and directed by Andrew Niccol in his feature directorial debut. It stars Ethan Hawke as Vincent Freeman, an "in-valid" who assumes the identity of a disabled valid to pursue his dream of space travel. With the help of Jerome Eugene Morrow (Jude Law), a paralyzed former swimming star whose genetic makeup is used to mask Vincent's own genetic inferiority, Vincent gains employment at Gattaca Aerospace Corporation and becomes assigned as a navigator for an upcoming mission to Saturn's moon Titan.
