The Blob

In a small Pennsylvania town in July 1957, teenager Steve Andrews and his girlfriend Jane Martin witness a terrifying event: a carnivorous alien life form, resembling a gelatinous blob, engulfs everything it touches, growing larger and redder with each victim. The Blob's arrival sparks widespread panic as police officer Dave Barton dismisses their story, but Steve and Jane soon find themselves at the center of the town's terror, with the Blob absorbing anyone who gets too close, including a local mechanic and a projectionist in a theater showing a midnight screening. As the Blob continues to wreak havoc, Steve discovers its vulnerability to cold temperatures, leading him to come up with a desperate plan to save his friends and ultimately defeat the monstrous alien invader.
