My Boss, My Hero

Du-shik (Jung Jun-ho), a successful young mobster, must pose as a 19-year-old to attend school and achieve his high-school diploma in order to receive a promotion to take over the Myeongdong district of Seoul. There, he befriends Yun-ju, who is struggling financially and must enroll in private school despite being behind on payments. As Du-shik navigates his new life as a student, he uncovers corruption among the school's upper brass, including the dean who unfairly changes grades for privileged students like Ji-hye, and the English teacher Ms. Lee, who is belittled by her colleagues. Meanwhile, Sang-du, a college graduate and Du-shik's right-hand man, and Ga-ri, a goofball meathead, aid him in keeping his true identity hidden.
