Cleopatra

In the future, three humans—Jirō Tani, Hal Witcher, and Maria Fellow—travel spiritually to ancient Egypt, where they become friends with Cleopatra VII Philopator. They discover that an alien race called the Pasateli intends to conquer humankind with a plan called "Cleopatra." Using time machines, they transport their minds into the bodies of members of Cleopatra's court, including Hal as an ancient priestess, Maria as Cleopatra's handmaiden Libya, Jirō as Ionius, a Greek man captured and enslaved by the Romans. The group navigates the complexities of ancient Egyptian politics, seduction, and war, ultimately foiling the Pasateli's plan when they return to their own time.
