G.I. Jane

A female Senator succeeds in enrolling a woman into Combined Reconnaissance Team training (Navy Seals) where everyone expects her to fail. The film tells the fictional story of the first woman to undergo special operations training similar to the U.S. Navy SEALs. With the military's decision to integrate women into combat services, Lieutenant Jordan O'Neil is chosen specifically for her femininity and must survive a grueling selection program designed to wear down recruits' physical and mental strength.
