In 1945, Princess Elizabeth and her sister Margaret are allowed to join in the VE Day celebrations, disguising themselves as commoners, and encounter romance and danger. Sarah Gadon stars as Princess Elizabeth, who meets an airman named Jack (Mark Hadfield) and, with Bel Powley as her sister, has a night of adventure beyond their planned itinerary.
