Ginger Snaps

In the darkly comedic and hauntingly feminist tale of "Ginger Snaps," two teenage sisters, Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald, are outcasts in the seemingly idyllic suburban town of Bailey Downs, Ontario. When Ginger is bitten by a mysterious creature on the eve of her first period, she undergoes a terrifying transformation into a werewolf, testing the bond between the sisters and forcing Brigitte to save her from herself - or succumb to the darkness that threatens to consume them both.
