Fish Tank

Mia Williams, a volatile and socially isolated 15-year-old, lives on an East London council estate with her single mother and younger sister. She's constantly at war with those around her, but when she meets Connor, her mother's charming new boyfriend, he returns her attention and believes he might help her make sense of her life. As they grow closer, Mia finds herself torn between a blossoming friendship with Connor and the anger and resentment that has always defined her relationships with others.
