The Last Princess is a 2016 South Korean period drama film directed by Hur Jin-ho, starring Son Ye-jin as Princess Deok-hye, the last princess of the Joseon dynasty. The film tells the story of Deok-hye's life in Japan after being forced to move there at age 13, her attempts to return home, and her relationship with her childhood friend Kim Jang-han (Park Hae-il), who becomes a key figure in her final attempt to escape.
