Gone Baby Gone

A well-done mystery thriller with a melancholy tone that never lets up and ultimately leaves the viewer a little more sad than satisfied. Private investigators Patrick Kenzie and Angie Gennaro are hired to find missing child Amanda McCready, whose disappearance appears to be a simple case of kidnapping, but soon reveals itself to be a complex web of corruption, blackmail, and deceit in the rough Boston neighborhood where they live.
