Lost in America

In this 1985 satirical road comedy film, David and Linda Howard, a pair of 1980s yuppies from Los Angeles, ditch their mundane lives and set out on a reckless adventure across America in a Winnebago recreational vehicle. After being fired from his job, David convinces Linda to join him in liquidating their assets and leaving behind the comforts of their privileged lifestyle. Their plans quickly unravel as they lose their savings at a Las Vegas casino, leading them to take on dead-end jobs in small towns like Safford, Arizona, where they work as a crossing guard and assistant manager at a fast food restaurant, respectively. Will they ever find a way back to their old life, or will they remain lost in America?
