Craig Ferguson stars as Crawford Mackenzie, a Scottish hairstylist who travels to Los Angeles to compete in the Platinum Scissors contest after discovering he's been mistakenly invited as an audience member instead of a competitor. With the help of a film crew capturing his journey, Crawford must find a way to become the main event and produce his greatest creation yet.
