Blackmail

In 1929, a London woman is blackmailed after killing a man who tries to rape her. A Scotland Yard detective, Frank Webber, and his girlfriend, Alice, become entangled in a web of tension and deception when she flees the scene without reporting the crime. With the help of a sly artist, Mr. Crewe, Tracy emerges as a blackmailing menace, threatening to expose Alice's dark secret unless she pays him hush money. As Frank closes in on the truth, Alice must confront her own guilt and ultimately reveal the shocking events that led to Crewe's demise.
