The Legend of the Holy Drinker

In the gritty streets of 1930s Paris, a homeless man's desperate struggle to repay his debt becomes an existential odyssey of redemption and despair. Andreas Kartak, played by Rutger Hauer, is lent 200 francs by a stranger with a promise to pay it back at a local church - a simple request that spirals into a complex web of circumstance and self-destruction.
