Sonny Jordan (Mekhi Phifer), a troubled drifter, finds himself in a desperate situation when he saves George Good's life from a mugger. George, grateful for Sonny's help, offers him a home and job on his Louisiana Bayou farm, where Sonny quickly settles but becomes entangled in a passionate affair with Larissa (Elika Portnoy), George's mysterious wife, leading to a twisted plot to kill George.
