In this unassuming but charming comedy-drama, 14-year-old genius Eli Pettifog finds himself stranded at Whittman College after being rejected from Harvard, where he befriends an unlikely ally in 41-year-old freshman Leo Searly, a former gambler trying to rebuild his life. As they navigate their disparate worlds, the film offers a rare glimpse into the complexities of a young genius and his struggles to find belonging. With a dash of fantasy and humor, Hair Brained explores themes of identity and friendship with wit and heart.
