A Horrible Way to Die

"A Horrible Way to Die" follows notorious serial killer Garrick Turrell (A. J. Bowen) as he escapes from police custody and pursues his ex-girlfriend, Sarah (Amy Seimetz), who is responsible for his incarceration. Along the way, Turrell murders several strangers and appears remorseful for the killings, while Sarah develops a relationship with Kevin (Joe Swanberg). The film's twist reveals that one of Sarah's friends was sending coded messages to Turrell in prison, leading to a confrontation between the group and the escaped killer.
