Behemoth

Behemoth depicts a hellish landscape as a result from mining industry in Inner Mongolia, China. Accompanied by Tuvan throat singing, a naked man lies in the scene of smoky mountain under the control of "Behemoth". Workers, soaked in black smoke and struck by wind, continuously take turns to mine their skin pocked with red spots and black dust particles. The film explores the consequences of pollution, industrialization, and coal-mining on workers' health and lives.
