Comes a Horseman

In the American West of the 1940s, two ranchers, Frank "Buck" Athearn and Ella Conners, must band together to fight against economic hardship and the expansionist dreams of local land baron Jacob Ewing, who will stop at nothing to control the fertile valley. With war in the background and oil exploration on the horizon, their small operation is threatened by J.W.'s dream of preserving it from those who would use the land for other purposes. As Ella and Frank navigate treacherous terrain, jealousy, betrayal, and sabotage, they must confront their own personal demons and ultimately find love amidst the challenges of a changing world.
